MY COLLECTION OF TINTIN ALBUMS IN FOREIGN LANGUAGES |
|
The Adventures of Tintin have been translated into 97 different languages... and 7 more are to be released soon !
I'm collecting essentially two albums of Tintin : "The Shooting Star" and "The Castafiore Emerald". However, when they have not been translated into a given language (shown by a whitened cover) or when a translation is nowadays extremely difficult to find, I had to turn to other titles.
The covers of the albums I have in my collection are reproduced in the below table (copyright : © Moulinsart S.A., © Hergé, © Casterman). If by any chance you own one of my missing albums or know where I can find them, do not hesitate to contact me.
7 NEW LANGUAGES FORESEEN OR STILL IN PROJECT !!!
Translations in project (more or less developed) : ARAMEAN ("Tintin in America"), BAMBARA ("Secret of the Unicorn"), CAPE VERDEAN CREOLE, GENTS (dialect of Ghent, Belgium), GEORGIAN, MALAYALAM and YIDDISH
TINTIN ALREADY SPEAKS 97 LANGUAGES
WHAT I'M STILL LOOKING FOR ...
